
Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade and the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences to Develop Human Capital
Today, His Excellency Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Dr. Mostafa Hodeib, President of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in training and professional development for the Ministry’s staff.
The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Walid Abu El-Magd, Deputy Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Dr. Rasha Ragheb, First Vice President of the Academy, Mr. Mostafa Ibrahim, Director of Strategies at the Academy, and Mr. Mohamed El-Baz, Head of the Central Administration for Human Resources at the Ministry.
The memorandum provides Ministry employees and their families with exclusive discounts on tuition fees for the professional Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programs. In addition, it includes specialized training programs and joint workshops in management, finance, and institutional development, aimed at enhancing staff performance and improving services for citizens.
Dr. Sherif Farouk emphasized that the memorandum aligns with the national strategy for building human capabilities and developing administrative capacities. He praised the Academy’s role in equipping employees with advanced scientific and practical skills and highlighted the importance of partnerships between government institutions and educational entities in achieving sustainable development goals.
Dr. Mostafa Hodeib expressed his pride in collaborating with the Ministry, affirming that the Academy is committed to providing cutting-edge educational and training programs that meet labor market needs and enhance human capital efficiency.
