
Minister of Technical and Vocational Education Welcomes President of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences to Discuss Activation of Postgraduate Programs
Tripoli, September 1, 2025 – His Excellency the Minister of Technical and Vocational Education, Mr. Yekhlef Al-Seifaw, received today at his office in Tripoli the President of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences, Dr. Mostafa Hodeib, accompanied by a high-level delegation including:

The meeting focused on strengthening joint cooperation in the field of technical and vocational education, enhancing the exchange of expertise, and exploring ways to benefit from the Academy’s extensive regional experience as a distinguished Arab institution operating in accordance with international standards. Discussions also addressed the potential establishment of an Academy branch in Libya to support national capacity-building initiatives.
Minister Al-Seifaw stated that the meeting aims to expand collaboration between the Ministry and the Academy through the introduction of specialized technical postgraduate programs (Master’s and Doctorate). These programs will play a key role in enhancing the skills and competencies of faculty members and staff across technical universities and higher institutes, contributing to improved educational quality in scientific, academic, and applied disciplines.
Both parties agreed to establish a joint working group to review and develop frameworks related to technical and vocational education, paving the way for the drafting and signing of a comprehensive memorandum of cooperation and understanding.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Hodeib presented a commemorative honor to His Excellency the Minister in recognition of his dedicated efforts toward advancing the technical and vocational education sector. He commended the Minister’s commitment to development and praised his ongoing contributions at the national, regional, and international levels.
