Signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences and the International Group for Sustainable Finance (IGSF) and COFICERT

In the French capital, Paris, and at the Euronext European Stock Exchange headquarters located within the Paris Stock Exchange, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences, represented by Dr. Mostafa Hodeib, President of the Academy, and Ms. Véronique de la Bachelerie, President of the International Group for Sustainable Finance (IGSF) and former CEO of Société Générale Bank, as well as Mr. Souhail Eskandar, President of the COFICERT Group.

The ceremony also witnessed the awarding of financial and non-financial compliance certificates to a number of European, Arab, and African banks.

This occasion was marked by the participation of representatives from the European Commission, the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD-OCDE), and the EU Global Facility on AML/CFT, underscoring the dynamic and growing convergence between Europe and Africa, driven by a common language grounded in the highest standards of accreditation and compliance with the most rigorous international regulations.

The event reaffirmed a deep-rooted conviction that compliance—both financial and non-financial—has become a strategic pillar, a lever for credibility and opportunity, and a key driver of sustainable performance. It also represents a milestone of institutional recognition for the most advanced organizations, distinguished by their integration of best practices in both financial and non-financial governance.
