
H.E. the Minister of Technical and Vocational Education Receives the President of AAMBFS to Discuss Activating Postgraduate Programs
Tripoli – September 1, 2025
His Excellency Mr. Yakhlef Al-Seifao, Minister of Technical and Vocational Education, received today, Monday, at his office in Tripoli, Dr. Mostafa Hodeib, President of The Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS), along with the accompanying delegation.
The delegation included Dr. Rasha Ragheb, First Vice President of the Academy; Dr. Amr El-Nahas, Vice President for Training and Business Development; Ms. Iman Ghazzawi, Director of the Jordan Branch; and Mr. Hassan Abu Huraira, Director of Investment.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation in the field of technical and vocational education, exchange expertise in training and capacity building, and benefit from the Academy’s experience as a leading Arab educational institution operating in accordance with international standards. The discussions also addressed the possibility of establishing a branch of AAMBFS in Libya.
His Excellency the Minister emphasized that this meeting comes within the framework of expanding cooperation between the Ministry and the Academy in postgraduate programs, including technical master’s and doctoral degrees, with the aim of enhancing the competencies of faculty members and administrative staff at higher technical colleges and institutes. This cooperation is expected to positively impact the quality of the educational process across academic, scientific, and applied disciplines.
The two sides also agreed to form a joint working team to study technical and vocational education priorities and develop a clear framework for cooperation, in preparation for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry and the Academy.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Hodeib honored His Excellency Mr. Yakhlef Al-Seifao in recognition of his efforts to develop the technical and vocational education sector, praising his continuous contributions at the local, regional, and international levels.
