Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Libya Meets President of the Arab Academy to Discuss Executive Steps for Opening the Academy’s Headquarters in Libya

Professor Dr. Mohamed Al-Debeib, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the State of Libya, met with Professor Dr. Mostafa Hodeib, President of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences, in the presence of Dr. Rascha Ragheb, First Vice President of the Academy, along with a number of senior officials from the Academy and the Ministry.

The meeting was held as part of the follow-up on the executive steps required for the opening of the Academy’s headquarters in Libya. Discussions addressed the necessary arrangements and procedures for commencing operations, in addition to areas of joint cooperation in education, training, and professional development.

Professor Dr. Mohamed Al-Debeib emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with distinguished Arab academic institutions in a manner that contributes to the development of the higher education system and the capacity building of Libyan professionals, in accordance with applicable regulations and approved standards.

For his part, Professor Dr. Mostafa Hodeib expressed his sincere appreciation to the Minister for his warm reception, reaffirming the Academy’s commitment to completing the executive steps required to open its headquarters in Libya and commence operations. He also highlighted the Academy’s commitment to providing academic and training programs that address the needs of the Libyan labor market.

The meeting forms part of the Academy’s strategy to strengthen its regional presence, expand its partnerships with Arab institutions, and contribute to advancing education, training, and human capital development in Libya.
