
Signing of the Diplomatic Headquarters Agreement for the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences in Tripoli Under the Patronage of the Prime Minister of Libya
Under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity of Libya, the diplomatic headquarters agreement for the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences was officially signed in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
The headquarters agreement aims to establish the legal and institutional framework governing the Academy’s operations within the State of Libya, in line with its role as one of the institutions of joint Arab action. The agreement also supports the launch and expansion of the Academy’s educational and training activities within the Libyan market in an organized and sustainable manner.
As part of a comprehensive vision to strengthen cooperation with Libyan institutions and entities, a strategic partnership agreement was also signed between the Academy and the Development Bank. This partnership reflects the commitment to integrating the roles of the academic and banking sectors while supporting the implementation of various training programs and developmental initiatives aimed at enhancing the competencies of human capital across different sectors in Libya, particularly in light of the establishment of the Academy’s branch in Tripoli.
The agreement on behalf of the Development Bank was signed by Mr. Jamal Aqeel, General Manager and Chairman of the Bank’s Management Committee. The signing ceremony was attended by a number of senior officials, distinguished figures, and representatives from various Libyan institutions.
This agreement marks a significant milestone in the Academy’s long-standing journey of supporting and developing investment in human capital in Libya since 1988. Over the years, the Academy has delivered numerous specialized educational and training programs that contributed to graduating thousands of Libyan professionals who have held and continue to hold leading executive and leadership positions across various sectors and institutions within the Libyan state.
